When something bad happens to us, we usually think that we will never be happy again, especially after we survived something horrific. Well, this news will prove you wrong, and will give hope to anyone disappointed in people and life in general.
A woman who was stabbed 32 times survived that luckily and what is even better a paramedic who saved her proposed to her. In 2012, a young woman called Melissa Dohme was stabbed 32 times by her former boyfriend. She was so hurt and there was so much blood that people couldn’t recognize her face in the beginning. Now she is an advocate for Hands Across The Bay because she wants to help victims of domestic violence.
There is one romantic fact in this story – her savior and a hero Cameron Hill is her boyfriend, and now a future husband. She wrote on her Facebook fan page “ This happened!!!! Went out to throw the first pitch and my love delivered me the ball. This ball! I am engaged!! Cameron and I are engaged! “ He wrote, “ Will you marry me “ on the baseball and gave her astonishing engagement ring. Can you guess the answer? Of course, she said yes, and to give us the proof she shared a picture on Facebook, where she holds a cup with the sign “ I said yes." There are some stories who have a happy ending, the only thing we need to do is to believe in it, and we will get lucky, just like Melissa. Her story did have a happy ending after all.
